MASONS ON THE AIR–HELP US FROM YOUR HOME QTH

WEARS will once again be participating in the special event/contest known as MASONS ON THE AIR (MOTA). The event is Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 10 AM to 6 PM local time. The object is for our CP600 stationed at the Masonic Center in Greensburg to make as many contacts as possible to score points. We have taken First Place in our class the last four years, and we’d like YOU to help by contacting our station on HF SSB from your home QTH.

We will be operating on the 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 Meter bands SSB and will be announcing our operating frequencies on the 147.180 MHz repeater (you can also call Doc Sam or Abe by phone to get what band we’re operating at a given time on the contest day.) We score a point for each contact, and the same station can work us on each of the five bands. You can take a few minutes and give us five points without leaving home.

Please mark your calendars and help us out. We’ll also be discussing this in detail at the September 23 business meeting at the Arnold Palmer Airport EOC at 7PM.
